Nostalgia
What despairs me is when I look at something and cannot understand it. At a Van Lang party last weekend, there was a moment when several of the teachers played instruments to old Vietnamese songs. While I enjoyed listening to this semi-foreign music and being amazed by the levels their voices reached, I could not help but feel sad at the same time.
I fear for the loss of language in the future....

I miss writing.

Mood: Grateful.
Every time I feel stressed out or down,my friends and family are always there for me. It’s the little things they do that make a difference in changing my day and perspective around. For that, I’m thankful. Thankful that they—their lightness—saves me from being consumed by my work and tunnel vision.
